Each Spring Architalx produces a world-class lecture series presented by architects, landscape architects, engineers and designers from around the world who address contemporary design issues with exemplary projects. The lectures are a means to engage the public by expanding awareness of design and the environments in which we live.
Please join Architalx in our 22nd season as these contemporary design practitioners share their vision to create engaging meaningful spaces. The 2010 lecture series begins with a unique double lecture presentation.
In an unprecedented collaboration, eight major Maine professional and non-profit organizations have joined forces to present this event:
Tuesday, March 30th “The Art of Bridge Design: The Best in Integrating Architecture and Engineering” By David Scott, Principal of ARUP and Spiro Pollalis of Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
